Things To Do

“And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.”
- Abraham Lincoln

n authentic 19th century Victorian resort, tucked in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, Eureka Springs is a quaint village setting, with beautiful surroundings, parks, trolleys and historic architecture. The town's unusual name Eureka, from the Greek "I found it”, pays tribute to the curative nature of the area’s abundant spring waters.

Walk the many winding paths and catch a glimpse or two of our resident deer. Walk through town to enjoy the works of Eureka's own artisans or visit the many unique shops. The town features plenty of sidewalks along interesting and scenic routes, providing a great way to experience the United States' only city with its entire downtown on the National Register of Historic Places.  It is a magical place filled with old-world charm and European flavor.
